These entries are created only when you click the language picker and contain only a language code (e.g. “tr”, “en”). The cookie is set with SameSite=Lax and as Secure over HTTPS; it is not used to identify, track or profile you and is not shared with third parties.
3. What we do not use
Our site has no analytics tools such as Google Analytics, no advertising/remarketing cookies, no social media pixels and no other third-party tracking scripts. All site files, including fonts, are served from our own domain. That is why no cookie consent banner is shown. If we ever decide to use analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before using them.
4. Automatic language redirect
When you first visit the home page (turkuazpayroll.com), the country derived from your IP address by our hosting infrastructure and your browser’s language setting are used momentarily to send you to the right language. No cookie is created for this and we do not store this information. If you have manually chosen a language before, your preference in the turkuaz_lang cookie takes priority.
5. Infrastructure and security
Our site is hosted on Cloudflare, Inc. (ABD) infrastructure. When it detects unusual traffic or bot attacks, this provider may set strictly necessary security cookies (e.g. __cf_bm, cf_clearance) to protect the site. These cookies are not used for marketing or tracking.
6. Legal basis
The functional entries we use are necessary to provide a feature you explicitly request (language choice). They are therefore based on KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and (f) and, under the Personal Data Protection Board’s Guidelines on Cookie Practices, do not require explicit consent. For visitors from the EU/EEA, these entries are considered strictly necessary under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC).
7. How to manage cookies
You can view, delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you delete the turkuaz_lang cookie and local storage entry, the site keeps working; only the home page language will again be determined from your location and browser language.
8. External links
When you click links to external services such as WhatsApp, that service’s own cookie and privacy policies apply. These links do not create any cookies unless you click them.
